Effets d'un traitement ostéopathie sur les femmes souffrant de dyspareunie - Conclusion et bibliographie

La dyspareunie est un problème de santé publique pouvant toucher les femmes et les hommes ayant une vie sexuelle active. A cause du manque d’information sur le sujet, elle est parfois considérée comme un état normal par certains de nos patients et peut être un frein important à l’activité sexuelle ce qui entraine une influence sur la qualité de vie et la sociabilité des patients. Cette étude avait pour but d’étudier les effets d’une prise en charge ostéopathique sur les femmes souffrant de dyspareunies et de poser une hypothèse sur la place de l’ostéopathie dans l’abord pluridisciplinaire de cette pathologie. Nous n’avons pas eu de résultats statistiquement significatifs à cause de notre faible échantillon et de l’utilisation d’outils non référencés et crées pour cette étude. Néanmoins, nous avons pu observer des résultats cliniques encourageant du point de vue du ressenti des patientes. Cette étude pourrait permettre d’initier de futures études sur ce sujet peu étudié, avec un protocole adapté, possiblement un groupe témoin, un plus gros échantillon de patientes et une durée de protocole plus longue afin de permettre aux sujets d’avoir une vie sexuelle active pour étudier les effets de la prise en charge ostéopathique sur leurs dyspareunies. Il serait aussi intéressant d’investiguer la vision de la patiente, son ressenti ainsi que l’aspect psychologique de cette pathologie.
